Flocking

Flocking offers the advantage of a robust and durable surface on various materials such as foams, films (PVC, PU, PE... etc.) and fabrics.

Flock fibers made of viscose, polyester (post-consumer recycled) or polyamide can be applied in different lengths, hardness and colors. They offer high resistance to abrasion, scratching and UV light.

Flocked surfaces can be both hydrophobic and hydrophilic, have a sound-absorbing effect, as well as improving slip properties or, in the case of flock against flock, creating a strong slip-resistant effect.

This makes them ideal for automotive, furniture and jewelry packaging applications. The ability to store large amounts of powder, makeup and other liquids between the fibers is a great benefit especially for the cosmetics industry but also for humidifiers and air conditioners.
